To be eligible for the TRIO Student Support Services you must meet the following requirements:
1. Be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
2. Be admitted to Simpson University
3. Have academic need (as defined by the U.S. Department of Education)
And be at least one of the following:
- A first generation college student
(Neither of your parents have a Bachelor's Degree)
-OR-
- A low-income college student
(as defined by the U.S. Department of Education)
-OR-
- Have a disability registered with Simpson's Academic Success Center

Once accepted into the program students must complete
the following to participate in our field trips, and cultural events.
- Meet with an Academic Advisor once a year
- Meet with a Career Counselor once a year
- Complete the Financial Literacy Workshop once a year
